Short Biography

Ms. Hilda Karimi Kivuti Works in the University Library as a Library  Assistant and has vast experience in the office since 2012. She offers various User and customer-focused services to the clients. She has been in charge of various sections formerly the secretariat to the department and currently in charge of Circulation Counters Services.

She is  a self-starter, Team worker, ambitious , she has both good written and verbal communication and  a motivated employee who always goes out of her way in customer service delivery and other services geared towards achievement of departmental goals, mission and vision in support of the University Philosophy Ms. Kivuti holds a Bachelor of Science Degree of Library and Information Science from Mt. Kenya  University, having specialized in Library Science.

In addition, she has continually focused on personal development by enrolling and pursuing other relevant certifications in  Short courses that are relevant to her career including online courses offered internationally by international Organizations as well as those offered by the Employer.

Ms. kivuti is a member of the University Choir and a protocol officer during the University Events. She is very passionate about community service and Offers Voluntary Services whenever available. She likes learning new things and making new friends.
