University of Embu Library has launched a Digital Newspaper Section, which is equipped with six computers that has access to Daily Nation, Business Daily, The Standard, The Nairobian Newspapers.
Ministry of Education, Cabinet Secretary Prof. George Magoha visited University of Embu library on 6th August 2019. He was taken for a tour on different sections and services offered in the library by the librarian.for more information ....click here
International Open Acess Week 2019
UoEm library held Open Access week on 21st -25th October 2019. This was an annual international event, aimed at promoting access to open-access electronic information resources. The event was conducted by Library staff and Knowledge Ambassadors. On the last day, Friday 25th, participants who won the Open Access week were given awards by Prof. Mugendi, VC University of Embu.
Njuri High School and Kenyoho Secondary School visited the University of Embu Library where they were mentored, guided and enlightened on their personal, professional and academic decisions with an aim to prepare them for the University life.
