The University of Embu Library hosted an academic visit by students and staff from Mitunguu Technical Training Institute, providing an opportunity for academic exposure, knowledge sharing, and familiarisation with modern university library services and information resources.

During the visit, the delegation was introduced to the University Library’s facilities, services, and information resource management systems. The engagement provided an opportunity to learn about the organisation and delivery of library services in a university environment, including access to print and electronic information resources, digital library services, and research support facilities.

The visitors also had an opportunity to familiarise themselves with the Library’s electronic resources, E-Resource Computer Lab, internet access facilities, Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC), and the University Institutional Repository.

The visit aimed to strengthen knowledge and understanding of modern library operations, promote information literacy, and expose participants to the use of digital technologies in supporting teaching, learning, and research.
