The Department of Library Services, in collaboration with the UoEm TVET Institute, conducted a training session for newly admitted TVET students on Thursday, 4th June 2026, focusing on the effective utilisation of Electronic Information Resources. The programme was designed to equip students with essential skills for accessing, retrieving and using digital academic resources to support their learning and research activities.

The training was officially inaugurated by the Dean, School of Business and Economics, Prof. Kennedy Ocharo, who represented the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Daniel Mugendi. He emphasised the importance of information literacy and encouraged the students to take full advantage of the University’s electronic resources to enhance their academic success.
